In general the World Ranking represents the order of riders based on the number of Wake House Points (WH Points) collected during the current calendar year aggregated over multiple type of domains:

• Participation in Competitions (50%)
• Content Production (40%)
• Social Media Influence (10%)

The riders can filter the domain type and hence are not forced to follow all domains of the World Ranking. Some riders prefer one domain over the other and there is nothing wrong on trying to improve only in one domain.

The idea of taking all three above mentioned domains in consider is to promote all the important aspects of the sports evolution and grow. Every area is unique and is helping either on the progression or the visibility of the sports.

In case the rider master one of the domains, the other domains can become the next steps on the way to progress and further motivation.

The ranking starts calculating the order for a calendar year after the first competition results are being published. The reason for this is that the competition points are giving the currently given base of the World Ranking Points. These points represents 50% and on that we are able to calculate how many points should be distributed to Content and Social aspect with a constant real-time recalculation to ensure that Content is awarded with 40% of overall points and Social with the last 10%.

• Every competition that will be added to the Wake House calendar (independently from the governing body → IWWF, WWA, WFCW or any other commercial body) will guaranty Wake House Points on the level stated in the competition region:
  • NATIONAL - Points will be added in the NATIONAL Ranking only
  • CONTINENTAL - Points will be added in the CONTINENTAL as well as NATIONAL Ranking
  • WORLD - Points will be added in the WORLD Ranking as well as in the CONTINENTAL and NATIONAL Ranking
• The Wake House TOP100 riders hold a value and their participation in the competition will increase the number of points that all participants can gain.
• Number of Wake House Points that the riders get from the competition depends on the placement in the competition and on the amount of the Wake House Value collected in the category thanks to the registered riders holding Wake House Value.
• Wake House bot calculates the overall amount of Wake House Value for competition based on the riders participating across all categories that gives a quick understanding on the quality of the event from the riders perspective.
• Wake House Value will be distributed between the riders in the same category.
• In case there is no rider with the Wake House Value in the category, there will be single points distributed to the riders based on their results with the biggest number for the winner and lowered by one for the next places.
• From the year 2024 only the TOP5 results based on the number of points achieved are taken in consider for each ranking region.

• Represents the amount and quality of content produced in regards of clips and movies representing the sport and the progression of the sport in the Wake House Cinema.
• All content that will be shared using Wake House Studio on the Wake House Cinema could collect votes for the quality and progression. These votes will be converted into the Wake House Points by the Wake House bot.
• Voting right is given only to the riders in the Wake House TOP100 from last calendar year currently holding the Wake House Value. At the end of the calendar year a new TOP100 will be selected based on the ranking points.

Content without any vote is not considered for the ranking. There is at least 1 vote required from any of the rider with Wake House Value.

• Represents the impact factor in the development of the sport through the social media presence.
• Rider will be awarded with the Wake House Points applicable for the Wake House World Ranking based on the number of followers on their Instagram profile.
• Only riders with the connected Instagram profile will gain these points. The Instagram account can be added in the riders Wake House Profile page. Manage > About
• The exact number of followers does not play a big role. The riders are sorted out from the highest number of followers to the lowest and the difference between two subsequent riders is only 1 point.

Please, be aware that National Ranking is calculated the same way as the World Ranking where the points base is given by the results from competitions on National Level, Confederation Level and World Level. This means that one rider can have more Ranking Points in the National Ranking than in the World Ranking as the National Level results are not reflected in the World Ranking.

Region logic as above explained is very important to keep the fairness factor as our ranking is based on the riders value. In scenario where one nation has a lot of riders with Wake House Value and they organize Nationals for just riders with the country ID it would block other riders from possibility to gain the points and at the same time help one nation to generate even more points for their riders.

If one rider is more active on local scene than on the world scene and he/she is participating only on events that allow the entry of riders from one nation or from one confederation, it can create the scenario that the rider will be National Champion, but will end up having zero or very low number in the World Ranking. There is nothing wrong about it and it is on individual riders' goals to try to achieve being National Champion and in the next year Confederation Champion and year after high in the World ranking and next years produce movies and be the best in the content production.

Wake House Ranking is giving the tool and flexibility for every individual to setup the goal for the season and have a fair chance to achieve the goal by following the specific strategy.
